Dena Enrich

Vice President and Associate Chief IP Counsel- 3M Consumer Business Group 3M

Dena Ehrich currently serves as Vice President and Associate Chief IP Counsel for 3M’s Consumer Business Group. She also serves as Corporate Secretary for 3M Innovative Properties Company. She joined 3M’s Office of Intellectual Property Counsel in 2007 and served as primary global IP counsel for various 3M businesses, including Personal Safety Division, Industrial Adhesives and Tape Division, and Advanced Materials Division. She also served in 3M’s Office of General Counsel as well as the leader for the IP team supporting 3M’s Corporate Research and Development organization. Before joining 3M, she was an associate attorney at a Minneapolis law IP firm. Prior to her legal career, Dena spent eight years in operations management and engineering positions at various global companies. Dena is an avid advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion with an emphasis on accessibility for all in the workplace. Internally, she co-chairs the Legal Affairs’ D&I Committee. Externally, Dena serves on the boards of Project for Pride in Living, University of Minnesota Duluth’s Swenson College of Science and Engineering, and the Intellectual Property Owners Education Foundation. Dena has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and a juris doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. She is a registered U.S. Patent Attorney and is admitted to the Minnesota state bar.
