John Sheridan, MHSA, is a life-long student and consultant serving long term care professionals. He is currently Vice President for Quality Analytics for Communicare Family of Companies and is a retired vice president of ABILITY Network and is one of the founders of eHealth Data Solutions / now owned by Inovalon offering CareWatch for MDS analytics, RiskWatch for adverse event QAPI, UBWatch for MDS/Claim audit and compliance, CareWatch PBJ for staffing by acuity and InfectionWatch for both antibiotic stewardship and prevention. These “watch” products serve thousands of LTC professionals and centers throughout the care continuum. John served as an employee/manager with the Ross Division of Abbott Labs, as vice president for the Lutheran General Health System (now Advocate Health System), as manager with Arthur Anderson, as data analyst with Kaiser Permanente of Ohio, and for a decade, consultant with John Sheridan & Associates. He was raised and educated in Upstate New York and has a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John Fisher College and a Master’s degree from George Washington University.
