Krishna Tummalapalli is an experienced data leader, currently serving as the Head of Data Science and Data Platform at OhioHealth, where he leads cross-functional teams of Data Architects, Engineers, and Scientists. With over 20 years of expertise in Healthcare, Finance with focus on Data and Analytics, Krishna has a deep passion for transforming how organizations leverage data to drive business outcomes and become more digitally empowered. In his career, Krishna has built and led high-performing teams, implemented cutting edge data platforms, and guided organizations through the complexities of digital, data, and AI transformations. His leadership philosophy revolves around fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and fail fast attitude, ensuring teams are equipped to meet the demands of today’s rapidly evolving data and AI landscape. Krishna’s academic background reflects his commitment to lifetime learning. He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Osmania University, an MBA from Missouri State University, an Advanced Analytics program from Harvard University, and is currently pursuing a Data Science degree from UC Berkeley. Krishna enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He likes to play badminton and enjoys teaching.
