Krzysztof graduated from the Gdańsk University of Technology, specializing in sound processing. Later, he continued his academic pursuits and earned a PhD in the field of speech processing using Machine Learning techniques. He concurrently graduated with a Master of Arts from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and is a professional piano player. Krzysztof started his career over 20 years ago as a PHP and .NET developer. During this time he worked as a software engineer, system analyst, project manager, DevOps engineer and solutions architect. He has worked with multiple verticals, many different technologies, in both the public and private sectors. His primary area of expertise is cloud - particularly AWS. He also specializes in data privacy topics, especially in the context of GDPR requirements and data protection concerns, including reliability, overall security, confidentiality and coding practices. In his career at Xebia, he developed multiple upskill programs related to DevOps practices, solution architecture, and data engineering, especially connected with machine learning and GenAI. Krzysztof is currently a manager of Xebia’s data engineering department and works towards GenAI democratization.
