Inga Rós Gunnarsdóttir

Inga Rós Gunnarsdóttir currently serves as the Chief Data Officer at the City of Reykjavík. Before taking on this role, she worked as a management consultant for a period of four years. She also had her own business for a time and gained experience at L'Oréal in Copenhagen, she has worked in the private and public sector since 2015, in charge of business development, logistics, data governance and other management projects. In 2023 she was awarded Global Chief Data Officer 100 Award by HotTopics. Inga Rós holds an MSc in Product Development and Innovation Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark, along with a BSc in Operations Engineering from the University of Reykjavik. In her younger years, she pursued athletics with enthusiasm and was a member of the Icelandic national artistic gymnastics team for over 10 years.
