Zaman is Chief Data Officer at Great Ormond Street Hospital, responsible for delivering the organisation-wide culture change required to enable modern ways of working and use of information, data and analytics. Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH) is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. GOSH is an acute specialist paediatric hospital with a mission to provide world-class care to children and young people with rare, complex and difficult-to-treat conditions. Zaman has over 20 years’ experience working in Data and Analytics in the healthcare industry spanning both the National Health Service (NHS) and the private sector. He specialises in operating in complex environments with numerous diverse practices and principles with a focus on using Data and Analytics for transformational change and ensuring it unlocks and maximises the potential of data, as an asset. More recently, he has motivated change in processes and behaviour at GOSH, making recommendations to the board as part of creating and embedding the GOSH Data & Analytics Strategy. As a key influencer within the organisation, he has been instrumental in establishing the programmes of work required to address the under-utilisation of data, current quality of data, data governance and access to data.
