Paul is the Automation & Innovation Senior Manager at 3M, where he leads a global team of experts focused on identifying, building, and successfully launching new technologies across the 3M’s Digital Marketing operations. Since January 2023, Paul has been leading the company’s rollout of Generative AI technologies, where his team have delivered multiple high-impact global solutions that are driving major process shifts, reducing costs, increasing productivity, and building employee engagement wherever they work. Paul In 25 years at 3M, Paul has been involved in all aspects of the company, from building their first, award-winning major websites, to major supply chain redesigns, finance transformations, leading eCommerce commercial operations and leading content operations to manage 3M’s extensive product portfolio. He is recognised within 3M as the leader in the Generative AI space, leading both the technology and the people, and is a regular speaker alongside 3M’s chief scientists and senior executives. As a Computer Science graduate from the University of Leeds and an Enterprise Advisor for schools with children with additional needs, Paul’s focus throughout his career has been simple: making things that people love to use. He believes that Generative AI opens up new opportunities to do just that.
