The Data Science Foundation is a membership organization for those involved in data analytics, AI and related disciplines. A social and communications hub that allows members to share research and best practice. We work with users and suppliers of data services as well as universities offering data science courses and their students. The foundation aims to create an active community of data scientists, to encourage the adoption of evidence-based decision making and to support professional development.
We recognize best practice, innovation and excellence in data science, artificial intelligence each year in the International Data Science Awards. The 2020 awards will be launched in London in April with the winners announced in Silicon Valley in November.

Membership consists of large corporates, start-ups and individuals from around the globe. Individual membership is free of charge, organizational membership is paid on a voluntary basis. Members are encouraged via a Code of Conduct to be socially and environmentally aware when making data related decisions. The foundation is working with members to establish a consultancy service, the profits from which will be invested in providing additional free services to members.
