Carlos Muñoz Ferrandis

Member of OECD.AI; former Hugging Face Counsel, Co-founder & COO Alinia AI

Carlos is the co-founder & COO of Alinia AI, a startup building a solution for a safe & reliable use of LLMs. He used to be Tech & Regulatory Affairs Counsel at Hugging Face, deeply involved with the EU AI Act and in the development of tools to better govern the use of LLMs, such as Responsible AI Licenses.

Prior to joining Hugging Face, Carlos was an external advisor for OECD on regulatory sandboxes in AI, he is nowadays part of their network of experts in AI. Moreover, he carried all his PhD research on open source and standards at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich.
