Her scholarly journey is marked by a deep personal commitment to understanding AI's implications on democracy and the rule of law, shaped by her observations of technology's role in social dynamics. These experiences have fuelled her recent PhD research at King's College London, culminating in her thesis, 'Deepfakes in the Era of Personalised Truth: Threats to Democracy and the Rule of Law.' Her work critically examines the destabilising effects of deepfake technology on truth, justice, and democratic institutions, proposing a multifaceted approach to mitigate these risks.
