Amie is the founder and Senior Partner of ALT Ethics, a tech ethics advisory group. As both a practitioner and a researcher, Amie’s expertise sits at the intersection between emerging tech, innovative compliance, responsible AI and Trust & Safety. Most recently, Amie was a member of Hinge’s Trust & Safety Leadership, first serving as the Senior Director of Integrity before transitioning to lead the Risk, Ethics and Policy team, covering compliance readiness, emerging risks, policy and AI ethics. Amie authored the AI principles and AI risk governance models for both Hinge and Match Group. Prior to her time at Hinge, Amie spent 10 years at Citigroup where she served as Citi’s Head AI Ethicist, and oversaw UDAAP regulatory compliance, risk management, and protections for vulnerable groups. Amie received her Master's degree in Bioethics from Columbia University, and has worked as an ethicist across the medical, financial and tech industries. In addition to her work at ALT Ethics, Amie also serves as the Vice President of the Colorado Medical Board.
