Anuj Bindal is the General manager for Visual shopping at Amazon. Anuj is a leading expert in AI with over 20 years of experience, and has made a significant impact on billions of users daily through his work in cutting-edge AI systems. At Amazon, he leads the Visual Shopping team at Amazon, where his team utilizes generative AI and multimodal LLMs to revolutionize the shopping experience across all stages - inspiring discovery, facilitating informed purchase decisions, and driving conversions. Previously, Anuj held several AI leadership roles at Google, Meta and Microsoft.

During his time at Google, Anuj led the teams that vastly improved search functionalities within Google Workspace apps, used by billions globally. He also led Ads optimization teams at Google, managing AI systems processing hundreds of billions in ad revenue. His innovations significantly enhanced ad spend optimization and contributed to Google's Search Ads revenue growth. At Meta, his work involved user intent understanding and extracting meaningful information from entities using advanced graph analysis, natural language processing, and AI. Before Meta, Anuj spent a decade at Microsoft solving some of the hardest Ads relevance problems that significantly increased Ads revenue and helped turn Microsoft's online services business profitable. Anuj also invests and advises startups in AI and crypto. Anuj graduated from prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi with a specialization in computer science and algorithms,
