Group Head of AI Zurich Insurance

Christian is the Group Head of AI at Zurich. He is a technology enthusiast who has worked on ESA and NASA space missions in the 90ies, building satellite-based instruments, working on signal detection, and trying to understand the origin of our solar system with the use of physics, data & modelling. After university he started his career in consulting, where he spent 17 years, supporting many large companies on their journey towards technology and AI-driven innovation, in financial services, healthcare, pharma and industrial manufacturing. His mission at Zurich is to drive the AI-journey of the company in the most significant business areas of the company.
