Robert’s career spans over 20 years in data & analytics across a wide range of industries (energy; marketing; fintech; loyalty; media/publishing) from start-ups to established global businesses. He specialises in bringing actionable insight to the whole organisation through robust data governance, building cutting-edge analytics and artificial intelligence. Both as a thought-leader and operator, Robert uses the latest technologies to enable companies to grow, expand their services for clients, and support colleagues in their work. Most recently, Robert has been Data Director at an energy technology business Kaluza, where he was responsible for shaping the platform’s pioneering use of data as a market differentiator. Previously he held senior roles helping Virgin launch their new rewards club, and The Guardian with transforming how they use reader information. Born a problem solver, Robert was naturally drawn to a career in data & technology and this extends to his personal interests in playing bridge, cryptic crosswords and quizzes!
