By transforming existing company data assets into new business models, services or products, organizations can delight customers while simultaneously amplifying top and bottom-line growth.
Despite its promise, data monetization is not without its challenges. If improperly enacted, data monetization can cost a company more than just the expense of implementation but also, to just to name just a few, loss of customers, reputation and employee morale.
With this in mind, we created a new survey on the current state and future outlook of data monetization. Our goal is to uncover:
- How many organizations have successfully monetized internal data sources?
- What are the most common approaches to do so?
- How are companies leveraging enterprise data to develop new products, services and lines of business
- How are data monetization efforts adding business value to the organization?
